Safer Internet Day

Safer Internet Day

Safer Internet Day has been held annually since 2008 on the Tuesday of the second week in February. It is intended to alert students, parents and teachers to the dangers of the Internet and to promote the correct use of media.

The SID is initiated by the "Safer Internet DE" association with klicksafe, nummergegenkummer.de, jugendschutz.net and the Internet Complaints Office.

We at TRIAS Schools used Safer Internet Day again this year as an opportunity to get two of our classes ready for their excursions into the World Wide Web. While class 5a familiarized themselves with secure passwords, hidden subscriptions and dangerous spam, class 7a learned about the background of the influencer business and learned ten basic tips for more digital well-being. Whether it's social media, advertising or PC safety - our students know the score!

We thank @klicksafe and @sogehtmedien very much for their great support!
