On September 27, 2025, history came to life at the TRIAS School in Elsterberg:
History teacher David Posner brought ancient Rome right into the auditorium with his Heilbronn Roman UG. Pupils in Year 6 (6a, 6b and 6g), who are currently studying the topic of "Ancient Rome" in class, were given an exciting insight into the life of Roman legionaries this afternoon. Not only were they able to see the soldiers' armor and equipment up close, they were also able to try it on themselves under expert guidance. With great interest and visible enthusiasm, the children slipped into armor and helmets, held shields, swords and pilums in their hands and learned vividly how the Roman troops once felt on their campaigns. An eventful afternoon that complemented the history lessons in an impressive way and will certainly be remembered for a long time to come.
